The fully self contained apartment occupies the front of our beautiful old home.

Whether you're staying for one night or one month, this space is private and homely. It's a perfect mix of old world and modern comfort.

**IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING PETS - We are "pet friendly" but please read our House Rules in relation to bringing pets**

Your hosts - Ingrid and Karl - are very well travelled, and understand what travellers look for, and have paid special attention to these features. Things like a fridge stocked with the basics such as eggs (from our own chooks), yoghurt, milk, orange juice, butter, jams, bread... even frozen dinners for those guests who arrive late at night. Likewise, unlike many other AirBNBs, the pantry is stocked with breakfast cereals, cooking essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil, coffees, teas and more.

The bathroom was the home's original main bathroom, but is now a feature of this lovely apartment. It has a beautiful deep bathtub to relax in... or you can just use the shower (which is over the bath tub - so you need to be able to step in) if you prefer. There is a front loader washing machine in the bathroom too. And much like the kitchen, you'll find basic essentials just in case you left them at home - things like toothpaste, disposable razors, deodorant, shampoos, soap, washing powder and much more.

The queen sized bedroom was the home's original master bedroom, and is spacious and comfortable. Directly off this room is the office space, which in a previous life was the sleepout of this old home.

**IMPORTANT NOTE: Whilst the apartment is totally self-contained and private with its own private entrance (the front door), please note that we do live at the rear of the property and access the back area via the side path. Unless you need us for anything, you probably won't see us.**

We live in a beautiful little coastal town about 3.5 hours north of Sydney, and love the great outdoors and the beauty of nature that abounds on our doorstep. My husband is a photographer, and he is well known locally for capturing beautiful aerial images of our unique part of the world. We both work from our own home office - I also have my own business: a successful Virtual Assistant service.

Our children are now grown and flown the coop and we have recently welcomed our first grandchild into the world - so life is very good!

We have travelled to many destinations including Europe (Germany and France mainly), Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Dubai, New Guinea, New Zealand, and many great spots in Australia...

We are not 5 star travellers by any means. We love camping and spending time outdoors in Australia, and when travelling overseas we like to 'follow our nose' and see what really makes places tick. Sitting on a tour bus would absolutely bore us to death!

We reside at the back of the property (much like a duplex style residence) and we come and go via a separate entry to the one you will use during your stay, and are a fairly laid back husband and wife who run our businesses from a large study in our home.

If you need our assistance with anything, one or both of us are generally easy to find, or will be close by and contactable by mobile.

We love interacting with our AirBNB guests, however, respect our guests wishes in terms of interaction. In other words, we are happy to go with the flow...

Also, if you're interested, we can provide lots of local tourist information about our lovely area, and recommend good restaurants and points of interest to visiting guests.
