The Swan Inn is a family run Inn situated in the beautiful, historic town of Midhurst.

When you stay with us you will enjoy a comfortable and friendly environment, surrounded by some of the most picturesque countryside in Britain - ideal for walking or cycling. We welcome friendly well behaved dogs in our bar and rooms so you don't have to leave your furry friends behind.

If you are visiting one of the many shoots in the area, gun cabinets are installed in all of our rooms.

The Swan Inn is situated in the heart of the old town of Midhurst. Although we are located on an island with a road running past each side, we are in a quiet area of the town so are rarely disturbed by traffic. The views over the Town Square are beautiful and the ancient church opposite offers a magnificent backdrop.

The Swan Inn dates back to the late 1400’s and is a Grade 2 listed building. Alongside the wonky floorboards and low ceilings you will find an ancient wall decoration, amazing architecture and a welcoming atmosphere. The Inn overlooks the Town Square and with the medieval church opposite, the setting is a lovely place to relax and take in your surroundings. It boasts 6 beautiful en-suite guest rooms, ideal if you are visiting events at Goodwood, attending a wedding or party, or simply relaxing and exploring the area.If you are visiting one of the many shoots in the area, gun cabinets are installed in all of our rooms.
