Enjoy our cosy, self contained unit detached from the main house. Comfy double bed with fresh linen and towels, thermal heating and simple breakfast provided. Reasonable rate in quiet cul de sac street just minutes walk or bus ride to town, hotels, resturants and sightseeing attractions. Off street parking available.

Rotorua features many exciting tourist attractions and scenic activities. Several lovely lakes, thermal activity and beautiful forest walks are close to our location and we are also situated only one block away from the race course where national events and functions take place. Dining and main shopping facilities are 5 min drive or 20min easy walk away or the local bus service stops regularly and is only a 2 min walk away. We are in a quiet and safe cul-de-sac street in a suburban but central neighbourhood.

I am a retired nurse and now work odd jobs at odd times!

My home is simple, friendly and open to family who frequently visit, and there is a dear little kitty cat who is always around checking things out.

I enjoy reading, cards, board games, mind puzzles and hand crafts. Not greatly into strenuous exercise, but do appreciate the energy of others who do!

Looking forward to meeting new people and supporting you for an enjoyable stay in lovely Rotorua, my home town for most of my life.

We are happy to support guests with local information if needed, and a folder with local attractions and map will be available in your unit. Mike is a mountain biker and can advise on the mountain bike tracks in the Redwood Forest We work shifts but hope to meet with guests at some point of your stay, however the unit has private access from the main house so we may not cross paths, but will certainly be available by phone if needed.
