This home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms, is 2000 square feet and is located in a peaceful wooded setting in the quaint town of Searsport. It has a spectacular ocean view from the front deck with a nice ocean breeze most of the time.

Downtown Searsport is just a short mile away where you can have breakfast at a local cafe, a pizza or subs at the sandwich shop, a tour of Penobscot Marine Museum, go antique or souvenir shopping or peruse an old stone library.

The home has 3 bedrooms: 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 1 full-sized sofa bed. No need for AC, but there are comforters/blankets/fans to accommodate guests’ preferred sleeping temperatures. The kitchen contains all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you’ll need. There is a large deck for enjoying the summer weather. Full size washer and dryer is available for your use.

Searsport and the Surrounding communities are steeped in ship building history. At one time Searsport boasted more Sea Captains than any place else in the world. Many of their magnificent homes remain in the area.

Downtown Searsport is just a short mile away where you can have breakfast at the Coastal Café, a pizza or subs at Dino’s, a tour of the Penobscot Marine Museum, or go souvenior shopping at the Grasshopper or peruse an old stone library. There are several ocean access points within a few minutes drive. There are also several State and town parks within a few miles.

You can take a short 15 minute drive to the city of Belfast and take a stroll downtown, shop at the Farmers Market, eat at any one of the many unique restaurants, shop at the Belfast Coop, or catch a movie at the historic Colonial Theatre built in 1912. Belfast is also home to the oldest continuously operated shoe store in the country, Colburn Shoes.
