With a spectacular view of the Enmore River, The Riverside Loft is a spacious open concept design. The wrap-around deck has a barbecue & provides a second story view of the river & surrounding nature. We are nestled among "red dirt" roads for that walk, run or bike ride. We also have walking trails on the property. The Enmore river is a well known kayak & canoeing route. A canoe, paddle boat, kayak and bikes are available. Parking. Camping option. Tranquility and oysters await!

"The Loft" is approximately 1,000 square feet. With its large open concept living area, "The Loft" offers guests the opportunity to relax at the table or in the comfy couch and drink in the view of the river from the three strategically placed sliding doors. We are located on 23 acres of groomed lawns and fields, which offers our guests private spaces and woodland trail walks. The deck is additional space for relaxing, sunning or barbecuing.

We are located on a paved road approximately 5 km from Hwy#2 in Prince County, Prince Edward Island. We are nestled among some spectacular "red dirt" roads that are isolate for walking, running or riding a bike. Our property is approximately 23 acres - The Riverside Loft is located enough distance from our residence to provide guests privacy and personal space. The open fields have groomed walking (or running!) trails and are filled with lupins (in season).

My husband, Mike, and I have just recently retired from Ontario Corrections and moved to Prince Edward Island. We want to start exploring Canada through Airbnb and also by travelling in our 1984 camper! We have 4 dogs, 5 cats, fish and two beautiful daughters in their twenties who moved from Ontario to PEI with us. We love food and wine and a good laugh.
I have several things I like but the five that I could not live without is my dogs, cheese, chocolate, a good read, and live music.
As a guest, I like the opportunity to meet new people and share their culture/lifestyle. I also like to have those quiet times to myself that I can reflect on the day. I like to think that I would be a self-sufficient guest and respectful of others property.
I met my soul mate when I was in my late twenties and we have been married since. We never had much of a chance to travel in our relationship, so now that we are retired we are hopeful to put some miles behind us, starting with Canada.
My life motto is “leap and the net will appear.”
