New house in quiet gated community. Each bedroom has its own entrance. One Bathroom w shower and a small kitchen. A half bathroom is also available. We are near several spectacular archeological sites. Xochicalco with more than 6 square miles of restored pyramids is 5 minutes away. Famous cave Cacahuamilpa is 35 minutes away. Tepoztlan, a pyramid on top of a mountain 35 min. away w great artisan shops. We facilitate trips with local transport we know personally. We have 10 years here.

Ambienti
The rooms are on the floor above the garage and there is a small terrazzo where you can enjoy breakfast. There is also a bridge to a larger space above our bedroom where we sometimes put up a large umbrella and relax. Our grassy lawn is available if guests want to invite friends for a picnic.

There are about 120 houses in this housing development which is called a Fraccionamiento. Ours is Fraccionamiento Brisas Miacatlán. The majority of the houses are not occupied year round but function as vacation houses for people that come here from Mexico City. We and the majority of the neighbors on our street live here year round.

My name is Garth Sorensen. I lived at 3224 Silver Lake in Atwater for the last 12 years of my working career (38 years plus) in Los Angeles area as a stage hand with IATSE local 33, working in live theatre, Ahmanson, Mark Taper Forum, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Pantages, Nokia, Staples center, Kodak theater as well as ABC TV prospect lot, CBS television City, etc. I had lived in the Silver Lake - Atwater area for more than 20 of those years. I am now retired and living in Miacatlan, Morelos Mexico, south of Cuernavaca. My wife Adela will be with me. She is from Mexico city. I still travel regularly to Los Angeles to coordinate a Guatemalan community organization with offices near Fairfax and 3rd. We will be visiting my daughter Claire Meyler who lives in Oakland near the Emmeryville border. She is expecting her second child.
