Actually, the Taverna Lusitana includes "O Fornvm dv Viriato" (Viriato's oven), a pizzaria next the taverna with another great terrace, and the Accommodations.

The accommodations offers two rooms "en suite", with TV, wifi, heating. One room has 2 single beds, the other room is a small apartment openspace with 4 single beds, kitchenette, fridge.
Granite and wood blend harmoniously, offering a traditional, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

Monsanto is a very old village, classified as "Historic village" and "The Most Portuguese Village", and is loccated on the slope of a steep hill. The Man felt closer to Heaven (Monsanto - Monte Santo - Holy Mountain).

The houses merge overlaying each other, nestled between the huge granite boulders and narrow streets.

On the hilltop there's a Templar castle, and it is regarded as National Monument.
