Sunbird Studio is a spacious, modern, and very comfortable, quiet one bedroom/ensuite apartment located at 'Birdsong' in Port Douglas.
It is set amongst the three acres of beautiful tropical gardens; a very private slice of paradise. Complimentary breakfast ingredients provided for the first night.
'Birdsong' is a large executive gated home. The beautiful gardens are hired periodically for weddings. During high season, we sometimes allow Caravan's and Rv's, (well clear of the Airbnb unit).

Sunbird's Studio is perfect for people who really want to experience the rainforest feel but still be close to everything - shops, restaurants, reef tours, etc
sleeping: One bedroom with ensuite. Queen size bed. There is a single sofa bed in the living area, however it is only suitable for a small child or teenager. There is no extra charge. Please note It is NOT suitable for adults.
Pool: The pool at the main house can be used by guests.
Breakfast: You'll find Milk, Bacon and Eggs in the fridge.
Coffee: Nespresso Coffee machine and a selection of Pods
Tea: Selection of regular and herbal teas.
Kitchen Cooking is complete with everything you'll need except an oven.
Cooking equipment includes Gas and electric Hotplates, Outside Gas BBQ, Microwave, and Fridge.
There is an outside wood-fired pizza oven that can be used for the adventurous.
Fire Pit: Available in the garden

DVD player with selection of movies.

We are minutes from everything that Port Douglas has to offer. 3 Minutes drive to Four-Mile beach, great for morning walks. With deli cafes, bottle shops, Supermarket restaurants the same distance.

Our main property was used as a traditional bed and breakfast several years ago. The hosts Roberta and Alan are usually at the main property or taking care of the property and gardens, they will be available only if needed.
