The neighborhood of Beato is the up-and-coming and exciting place of fashion and arts in the city of Lisbon, with a growing nightlife and maximum security. The entire parish is renovating the old small factories and warehouses into very stylish pubs, restaurants, and places to live. Very close to the river, it's midway between the historic center and the vibrant Parque das Nações area. It is worth to stroll in the late afternoon and watch the sunset.
Close to monuments (Beato and Xabregas convent), cultural centers (Fábrica Braço de Prata), art galleries and alternative shops, as well as cafes, restaurants, and bars with character. I especially like That Place That Does not Exist, down the street, Tang Dynasty Chinese restaurant or Musa and Dois Corvos artisanal breweries in the adjacent streets. The apartment is also very close to the famous chef Chakall Restaurant in the square David Leandro da Silva: El Bulo and Pizzeria Senhor Abel.
