LOCATION:
The house is located on the North Shore in Winnetka, walking distance to the Metra, distinct little town with exquisite shops, restaurants, coffee shops, Lake Michigan right down the street, beach, and lovely area to walk around and look at gorgeous mansions.
Short bike ride distance to arty Evanston, longer but beautiful bike ride to the Botanic Garden and 20 min train ride to Ogilvie train station in Chicago.

We're a family of six and we are from Cologne, Germany. My husband Philipp came here to start business with "the Bellicon", the already famous mini rebounder in Europe. You can check it out once you’re here.

I work as an artist in Evanston in a shared studio. This is a dream come true. Time for painting, drawing and printmaking. My latest shows and artwork can be seen at the Noyes Culture Arts Center. My other passion is my family with four kids, a great husband and now two little cats. We used to have dogs, chickens, even horses in the back yard, but unfortunately they don't fit into this house anymore, so they had to stay in Germany.
I love to cook and host guests as well as traveling, celebrating life and God.

What I really would miss? Laughter, paint brushes, wine and cheese, a good book, my lovely church, the super cute refugee kids I am working with at Heartland Alliance ministry.

I am all in for a good party, new ways to live an invironmentally friendly life , I'd prefer an imperfect house with a soul to an upscale modern hotel with all amenities, I'd rather read than watch TV, spend time with guests than run to the next event, have happy kids than overachievers, refrain from meat than eating some that comes from tortured animals.
