This freshly renovated and bright home-away-from-home comes with a 50” TV, Keurig coffee maker, convertible couch and a huge backyard. Quiet, clean and peaceful along with an ideal location next to the Hodgeville High School and only a 5 minute walk to the Village core. An ideal base for any excursion.

After entering your access code into the smart lock you’ll enter the front door which leads to the living room. The living room is host to a 50” 4K Smart TV with Netflix, a large armchair and a couch that converts into a twin-size bed. Walking through the hallway will lead you to the bedroom with a queen size bed, full-length mirror, bed lamps with wireless chargers and ample closet space.

Carrying on further into the apartment will take you to the kitchen that has a Keurig coffee maker, full set of knives, cooking utensils, dishes, cups and cooking pots and pans.

In the bathroom you’ll find a number of towels along with body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

Carrying through to the back door of the apartment will take you to the spacious backyard. There is a smart lock installed on the back door that can be opened using the same access code as the front door.

Back in the late 1960s, the community of Hodgeville was home to the designer of the present-day Saskatchewan provincial flag, Anthony Drake and his wife Joan. This quaint community is surrounded by a strong agricultural industry and is approximately 78 km southeast of Swift Current at the junction of Hwys 19 and 363. While visiting the area, stop in at the Country Craft Shoppe & Homestead Museum for a glimpse of the area's history and to browse the gift shop.

Hi there!
I'm Jimmy, a designer that loves to travel, meet new people and discover new cultures. These past few years I've split my time between Ontario and BC, but I grew up on Vancouver Island. For fun, I enjoy discovering hole-in-the-wall eats and delicious brunch spots.

On a chance visit to Saskatchewan, I passed through a beautiful village called Hodgeville and was immediately captured by the quaint and enriching calm along with the uber friendly locals. From this visit, the Second Ave Lodge was started on Airbnb for travelers of all kinds looking for a comfortable stay. After setting up Second Ave Lodge in 2019 we've been lucky to host a number of travelers from all over the world and introduce them to the small-town charm of Hodgeville.
