We offer you the chance to spend the night on the Earl of Pembroke, a replica of Captain Cook's Endeavour. A real and functioning wooden sailing vessel, currently moored up in Den Helder. Come and enjoy some time with our passionate crew and spice up your travel story with a stay on a pirate ship!

Ambienti
We have a selection of cabins on board, ranging from a 2 person cabin to a 6 person cabin. All beds are single beds, which is characteristic for this type of vessel. We have shower facilities on board and toilet facilities within 50 meters of the ship. Your stay will include a pick up from the shore (to save you a long walk around), a guided tour of the vessel and a generous breakfast in the morning. Our ship is currently starting on a big refit, so please keep in mind that all is not yet perfect. We are however in the process of making everything better every day and your stay with us will help fund this project!Due to the nature of our work and the limited availability of beds, we will have to limit your time staying with us to one night per person.

The ship is located close to the city centre of Den Helder, about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Den Helder is a lovely coastal town with cosy city centre that holds an arrange of shops and café's. Within 15 minutes of the ship you will find the Dutch Marine Museum and The Redding Museum. Both are worth the visit for anyone interested in maritime history. Other than that, the crew will be able to point out nice restaurants and pubs in the area. Also close to the ship is the ferry to Texel, a great place to visit if you are interested in small towns, coastal nature and long walks on the beach. We advice you to rent a bike and explore the island!
