Cosy bedroom in a spacious industrial loft with a garden, two beds, and easy access from public transport.

Welcome to our place. We completely refurbished it as it was a warehouse a few years ago, so everything but the structure is new. It is at the end of a small gated alley, with very friendly neighbours.
As opposed to our other add, this is just for one of the two bedrooms, when we are living here or a friend is. In such a case you can have privacy in your own bedroom (with good soundproofing). If more than two are here, you can also use the large convertible sofa in the main room (but will have to cohabit with us in such a case).

The loft is composed of three floors. The ground floor has a single room with a very high ceiling, comprising the entrance, a music corner (baby grand piano, keyboards, drum kit, guitars, xylophone), a large convertible sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, and an office corner. There is also a small bathroom on this floor. There is also a single open room on the mezzanine, with windows opening onto our garden (the ceiling is at about 2.1m with a metal beam in the center, so if you are very tall be careful). It has a decent book collection, in French and English (including a lot of sci-fi and French literature), a comfy reading corner with beanbags, a desk and a long dining table if you want to have guests (we managed to fit 11 people once, but that's the maximum). On the lower level, the first door leads to a fancy bathroom with an Italian shower, a very large bathtub (fits two), and the usual appliances.
The bedroom we are renting has a small desk (with a computer if you need to use one), lots of storage space and a single bed, with another one underneath it. The second bed can be used separately or raised to make a double bed. It also has a door-window leading to our private garden. The garden offers some nice talking and resting space on a decked multi-level floor, and we grow some vegetables and fruits there. It generally has both sunny and shaded areas from 10am to 6pm.

We have a pet snake called Wisp living with us. She is not roaming free and lives in a vivarium. She's also small, completely harmless (corn snake), and very cute.

The immediate neighbourhood is relatively quiet, mostly housing with a few markets open late within 100m. Within a 10 min walking radius, there is the Daguerre neighbourhood (pedestrian district, lots of bars and restaurants), the catacombs, and a nice park open at night in the summer (to the delight of pokemon go players).

Leila dhe Kolia. Ne jemi të dy shkencëtarë (planetolog / matematikan) dhe udhëtojmë mjaft, më shpesh veçmas, për konferenca ose pozicione të përkohshme. Ne gjithashtu presim vizitorë herë pas here në Paris. Leila është mjaft e rezervuar dhe introverte, ndryshe nga Kolia. Ne e duam muzikën (dhe e bëjmë) dhe kafshët e të gjitha llojeve (gjarpri ynë Wisp në fotografi).
Për të ndihmuar në mbrojtjen e pagesës sate, përdor gjithmonë Airbnb për të dërguar para dhe për të komunikuar me pritësit.
