The cosy cabin features one double and one single bedroom, seperate fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, lounge with sofa, Smart TV with HDMI output and WIFI , gas stove and dining table, bathroom with hand basin, toilet and shower.
The cabin has double glazed windows with central heating, french doors opening to south facing veranda with patio furniture and private car park. Quiet surrondings with views of the mountains. Very functional and homely.

A peaceful oasis in a quiet countryside location. The Cabin is located 4km to Ardfinnan, 15km to Clonmel, 13km to Cahir and the M8 motorway, 26km to Cashel, 32km to Lismore and 40km to the coastal town Dungarvan. The nearest pub is a 10 minute walk from the cabin.

The cabin is situated at the foot of the Knockmealdown mountains and The Vee which offer stunning views and access to the national Looped walks, The Suir Blueway, Tipperary and the Greenway in Co Waterford.

National Heritage sites such as Cahir castle, Rock of Cashel and Lismore castle are all in close proximity as well as the river Suir and Tar which are renowned for game angling.
The cities of Cork, Kilkenny and Waterford are approximately 1 hour drive from the cabin. Killarney (Co Kerry) and Cliffs of Moher (Co Clare) are between 2-2.5hour drive from the cabin.

The cabin is located on our property but is situated a considerable distance from our home. It is not overlooked as it is south facing, has a seperate entrance and parking and has complete privacy.
Overall, the cabin offers peace and tranquility in a rural location and a nice space to relax and unwind in summer or wintertime. It feels like home from home and is a great place to return to after a day sightseeing. The cabin is surronded by functioning farms with horses, cows, cattle and dogs which is typical of rural Ireland.

The nearest pub is a 10 minute walk from the cabin with access to public transport in Ardfinnan (Bus Eireann), Cahir and Clonmel (Bus Eireann and Iarnrod Eireann)
The Suir Blueway, Tipperary and the Greenway in Co Waterford are very accessible from the cabin.

I am a Registered General Nurse. I completed my Nurse Training in Ireland before emigrating overseas where I worked and studied in UK, Middle East and Australia. I returned to Ireland in 2007 where I completed my Masters in Business in NUI in Galway.
I married John in 2011 and Sean was born the following year (Sean is now 7 years old and adorable!). I decided to take a break from my professional career to spend quality time with my family and also manage the cabin under Airbnb.
I have travelled extensively, particularly Middle East and love to meet people from different cultures. I love the outdoors and enjoy walking, hiking and sports (I have 9 All Ireland medals and 3 All Star awards for playing Gaelic Football).
John, my husband, works locally as a truck driver. John has driven throughout Europe and really enjoys meeting people from different parts of the continent.
We both love the concept of Airbnb and meeting so many people. Our main priority is to ensure that guests relax and enjoy their holiday. We feel the cabin offers comfort in quiet surrounding's with great opportunities for hiking, fishing or simply chilling out. Overall, it is excellent value for money.
