Local walks from the front door into an area full of history and nature.
Guests have a comfortable , bright double bedroom with a private small bathroom opposite.
Kettle ,range of hot drinks ,porridge pots, fruit and biscuits are provided.
Guests are welcome to sit in the front garden area .
I aim to balance respecting your privacy with a warm welcome .

Ambienti
This house is in a quiet area , easily reached by bus from the city centre and so combines a city location with the relaxation of a green setting .
The house itself is on three levels with the guest room on the ground floor and shared main bathroom on the first floor .
There are also steps up to the front door and so it does not have disabled access .
Guests have sole use of the front door and can easily come and go as they please .
There is free parking for guests with a car or space for a bicycle in the house .
Frequent buses go into City Centre or out to Midlothian including Dalkeith country park or the Historic Rosslyn Chapel.
The house is close to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and so would work well for anyone visiting or working there.
Edinburgh University's Kings buildings is also within 20 minute walking distance .
There are three supermarkets in easy walking distance .Aldi and Morrisons are 5 minutes away and the Cameron toll shopping centre is 20 minutes or 5 minutes by bus .


It would suit: single guests or a couple but children are also very welcome is they can manage stairs .

The house is a town house so guests would need to be able to cope with stairs.
There is a small private bathroom opposite the bedroom , for the exclusive use of the guest and a larger bathroom upstairs , shared with the home owner , with a shower .
The sitting room is also a comfortable shared space
Guests will have sole use of the main front door and host uses a different door . This increases guests independence and security

The City centre is easily accessible by car or public transport.
This is a quiet residential street backing onto a lovely local woodland . There are owls and foxes in the woods and wildlife thrives . There are local walks up onto the braid hills or through Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park.
The area also has an interesting local history with old houses dating back to 1700's .
Local amenities are good . 5 minutes away from an Aldi and a Morrisons or a Margiotta
10 minutes walk from Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
There is also a sports centre with gym 10 minutes walk away.
