The Shed @ Bowral is a very comfortable and cosy industrial style studio with lovely garden views and a ‘cool’ private semi enclosed verandah area.

Quiet and peaceful location close to the town centre and across the road from the Cherry Tree walking/bike path.

The accomodation is an easy 15 minute walk to Bowral town centre and the train station.

The Shed is a funky renovated section of a huge shed in our backyard. It was originally renovated to make a teen ‘hang out’ so it is very comfy and has a huge TV and Netflix!

The Shed is very central to Bowral. It’s the perfect place to base yourself to attend a local function/wedding or to explore the local shops, eateries and wineries.

We provide all of the conveniences you’d expect and if we are available, we will also happily drop you to your wedding or restaurant for free, saving you time and money.

The Shed studio comprises:
Queen bed - very comfortable memory foam mattress with a wool topper.
Electric blanket.
Quality cotton bed linen.
Bamboo quilt and additional wool and cotton blankets

Large full length mirror

Ensuite Bathroom:
Shower, toilet, vanity and shaving cabinet.
Quality towels/face washers
Shampoo & conditioner
Body wash
Hair straightener
Hair curling wand
Hair dryer

Kitchenette (no cooking inside):
Full size fridge.
Sink & washing up facilities.
Cutlery, salad bowl/baking dish, crockery and linen
Glassware & bottle opener.
Cutting boards, sharp knives & utensils.
Paper towel.
Kettle & toaster.
Microwave oven.
Salt & pepper grinders, olive oil
Tea, hot chocolate and sugar
Coffee pod machine & milk frother
Fresh milk provided.

2 large comfy leather lounge chairs.

Stereo with record player and records.
Gas 'log' fire for the highland cool climate.

Portable air conditioner unit supplied in summer (only needed in peak summer).

Private semi enclosed verandah:
BBQ and gas ring
Exhaust hood (which must be used when cooking!)

Expansive lawn.
Large private permaculture designed garden - you are welcome to help yourself to fruit, veggies and herbs as available.

Numerous attractions, including great cafes, restaurants, shopping and the famous Donald Bradman Museum (just off the cycling and walking path).

Within a few minutes walk:

Cherry tree walk - cycling and walking path.
Bowral Swim Centre.

Bowral is a picturesque town; a great place to walk around and admire historical homes and beautiful gardens.

I am married to Bruce and we live in the lovely southern highlands of NSW.
We’re empty nesters as the youngest two sons left home to go to uni in 2021.
We live a simple, low waste lifestyle and love being in nature, bush walking and camping.
We also love being at home hanging out and we spend a lot of time in the garden or tinkering in the workshop or glasshouse.
There’s a large productive garden so we get to produce and preserve lots of fruit and veg.
