The Bothy is a converted cattle byre which is a self contained studio apartment, it has its own small garden with seating area with fantastic views of the surrounding area. Situated in the heart of Glenlivet on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park and close to the Speyside Way.

Ambienti
There is an entrance hall with storage space. Leading off this is a spacious shower room ( please note it is NOT a power shower due to our water supply) and a living area. The main room contains a king size bed and two very cosy chairs with foot stools, a breakfast bar and a fully equipped kitchenette with all you need for a self-catering break. There is a small hob and oven along with a combi- microwave and mini fridge. Please note there is no freezer however we can make space available for guests in our own outdoor freezer. Washing machine is available on request please note there is an extra charge for this. There is a tv with freesat channels, a dvd player and music system with a selection of dvd's and books as well as wifi completing your entertainment package.

The Bothy is situation in a beautiful part of the Scottish highlands. We are surround by fantastic views and there is an abundance of wildlife to discover. Situated next to a deer farm you will no doubt get familiar with the red deer that come up to the Bothy fence to have a look in. Our regular garden visitors include red squirrels, a barn owl and many species of wild birds. For the walkers there are forest and countryside walks and for those who like some thing a little more challenging there are many hills and mountains to climb.

Colin and I have lived in the Highlands for 17 years and we love the laid back feel of the place. We have a 13 year old daughter, and Colin also has 2 children from a previous relationship who are very much involved with our lives along with our three beautiful grandchildren even though we live 600 miles away from them. The Bothy which is set within our own grounds has been on the letting market for eight years and we love meeting all the different people that have passed through our doors so far.

We live in the main house which is situated within the grounds. We like to greet our guests when possible and make sure they have all they need. After this we leave it to our guests to enjoy as much privacy as they wish. However we need to point out we are not always here to greet and meet our guests due to other commitments. We will always let guests know if we are not here and we will be contactable via phone.
