Our home is ideal for extended stays, remote workers, and traveling nurses or other healthcare workers. It's the end unit in a small townhome complex at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with easy access to I-40/I-85, Research Triangle Park (RTP), Durham/Duke, and Chapel Hill/UNC.
The suite has a queen bed, blackout curtains, a work desk, a walk-in closet, and an updated private bathroom with a tub. The kitchenette has a mini fridge with freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a drip coffee maker, dishes, and a bistro table. There is no stove or oven. There is also a small private patio with outdoor seating.

Our property is a three-story townhouse at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by a mix of families and retirees. It's a quiet neighborhood.
This listing is for the first-floor suite only. You reach it through a private entrance around the back of the house, through the back patio. There are no shared interior spaces. With its own entrance, the suite functions as a studio apartment. Guests staying in this suite are the only ones with access to it and to the rear patio. There is no access to the main kitchen, laundry, or the rest of the home.
We also host a separate Airbnb on the second and third floors, with its own entrance at the front of the house and no access to the first floor. A double-cylinder lock separates that unit's door from the first-floor hallway, and it can't be opened from either side without a key. The door is heavily insulated for sound, though some noise can still travel between floors.

Parking: Parking for this unit is on the street, a 1-2 minute walk from the townhome. We will send directions before you arrive. The driveway is reserved for the upstairs guest and CANNOT be shared, though brief stops at the end of the driveway to load or unload groceries or luggage are fine. Street parking is the only option guaranteed not to be towed. There are guest spots nearby, but they are not for repeated long-term use, and an aggressive tow company patrols the area, especially at night. We have been towed ourselves more than once for parking incorrectly. Any visitors must follow the same parking rules. Tow recovery costs about $300 and is the guest's responsibility if you park outside the allowed street parking areas.
No smoking or vaping inside the unit, on the patio, or within 100 feet of the building. It must not disturb our neighbors.
No candles, incense, grilling, or other open flames, inside the unit or on the patio. Only the heating and cooking devices provided may be used.
There is no full kitchen and no washer or dryer. The kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator is shown in the photos. Guests should be comfortable without a full kitchen or in-unit laundry. Most guests use a nearby laundromat.
Visitors are welcome for reasonable lengths of time. Frequent overnight guests need to be cleared with us in advance.
The thermostat is controlled remotely and is shared with the upstairs unit. We keep it between 67 and 73 degrees and will do our best to keep everyone comfortable. A portable heater is provided.
Please be mindful of the unit above and avoid loud or disruptive noise.
Fresh linens (sheets, blankets, towels) and basic starter cleaning supplies are provided. Laundry and cleaning services are not included and supplies are not restocked. If you'd like to arrange your own cleaning service, let us know and we'll coordinate access.
