Cosy, pet-friendly annex on our secluded free-hold in the beautiful countryside of Kent, located just 10 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and 20 minutes from Dover Ferry Port. Wake up to the sound of Bertie the rooster announcing a new day! Relax in the garden watching Dudley the donkey or enjoy a brisk country walk along the many public footpaths in our area - perfect for dog walkers. If you fancy a day trip, you can be in London within an hour or Canterbury in 20 minutes.

You'll be staying in our newly established annex, furnished with all you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay including washing machine and drying racks, iron and ironing board and full kitchen facilities including fridge with freezer compartment, halogen hob, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and, of course, tea and coffee making facilities.

The sofa folds into a double bed so if you do bring a child, a friend, a parent he/she would be able to sleep in the living room. We do charge extra for a third person. We don't think the annex is suitable for 4 adults.

There is secure private parking on the property.

Fenced in garden where your dogs can run free but please keep an eye on them as there are vulnerable animals in adjacent pens.

Tepid-water out door dog shower by the main gate.

Entirely intentionally you will find neither BBQ or candles available. The cottage is next to the stable which is full of straw and we’d prefer if you kept fire risk at a minimum and avoid naked flames in or around the cottage.

If you do find that there is anything you think would improve the comfort of your stay please let us know and we'll see what we can do.

We love the peace and quiet. Plenty of good walks close by. Deceptively easy access to London as well as the continent so ideal not only for country lovers but also for business travellers looking for a quiet home away from home.

Hello, We are Guy and Anne Louise!
My wife and I look forward to being hosts and also being hosted on our travels. I'm a civil servant and she's a Doctor and we're both animal lovers! We love walking our three collies ... Some times our cat comes along with us! We have peacocks, chicken and geese. Our rabbits are as free range as are our birds and sometimes it gets a little hectic when we put the animals away for the night. Our horse and donkey are of the gentle straw-hat variety and we love just watching them munch or snooze.

Although we will need to pass by the annex in order to get to the stable area at least morning and evening, we will try to respect your privacy. If you need anything or have any questions, please let us know and we'll do our best to help.
We ask to please not feed the animals. We have had a recent dramatic colic in one of our horses who needed surgery and almost died so all animal diets are carefully planned to the last carrot.
