A small coastal town on the Côte d'Azur. Long appreciated by many artists, the town attracted the international jet set in the 1960s, and still attracts visitors for its beaches and nightlife. The cobbled district of La Ponche bears witness to its past as a small fishing village, although there are now more yachts than pointus (typical fishing boats) in the Old Port.

Made famous by the actress Brigitte Bardot and the series ‘Le Gendarme de Saint Tropez’, this mythical little town is a must-see in our region. Its face changes with the seasons, but retains all its charm. In summer, Saint-Tropez becomes a trendy seaside resort that attracts the world's jet-set. Visitors enjoy strolling along the harbour to admire sailboats and yachts, each more luxurious than the last. It's a busy time of year, day and night, and the heart of the village is never empty, with its restaurants, designer boutiques, cafés and nightclubs.

But there's more to Saint-Tropez than its glamour and festivities. Outside the summer months, this picturesque Provencal village is a place of tranquillity and authenticity. This is the best time to discover all its charms. Start your visit at the emblematic sites, such as the port, beautifully lined with houses with colourful facades, the typical Ponche district and the Place des Lices, where boulistes players play in the shade of the plane trees.

Then climb up to the ramparts of the citadel for a splendid view over the roofs of the town, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Maures mountains and the Esterel! Comprising a keep and three round towers, the citadel dates back to the 17th century and now houses the modern, living museum of the maritime history of the Tropez area.
