Beautiful 100 year old renovated historic home with original fireplaces, cozy beds and pillows, high speed internet, premium cable TV, bath products, walking distance to some cute bars and restaurants, a 6 minute drive to the heart of downtown, and a 5 minute drive to the famous five points area. This house has everything you will need; its warm, inviting, spacious, and feels like a home away from home.

This historic house was built in 1920, and still has the original fireplaces, tiles and features. Add to that some renovations throughout the years like vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and living room, jetted tub, a kitchen island with a breakfast bar, and it has literally become our dream house. We have used local artists as much as we can to help us and guide us in finishing out the house - the kitchen table was hand built by a local artist, dressers and headboards hand painted and finished.
The bedroom is spacious and boasts an original 100 year old fireplace with the original tiles, large windows, table and chairs to organize your trip, and a bathroom with large jacuzzi tub and shower. We provide all amenities (shampoos, conditioners, body wash, towels etc), have high speed internet and Xfinity premium cable.
We also provide our guests with a little guidebook of places we personally recommend in Nashville, from bars to restaurants to thrift stores; so our guests can have a firsthand experience of everything Nashville has to offer.
The house is located in the Historic Cleveland Park neighborhood in East Nashville - we are approx 6 mins/less than 2 miles from downtown, 1.5 miles/5 mins from five points (the hub of east Nashville), 4 miles from Vanderbilt/a 13 minute drive, and 4 miles from Gaylord Opryland Resort & Opry Mills Mall, and 1.5 miles/6 mins from Nissan Stadium - all in different directions, so very centrally located.

Walking distance to Folk restaurant and bar, Wilburn street tavern, Retrograde coffee, Nashville Crystal Shop, the pharmacy burger and beer garden, Mas tacos, Lyra, and other fun places! We have lived in this neighborhood for over 5 years, and love it. People are friendly and it’s booming, with new places opening up all the time.

I'm from Ireland originally, and moved to America about 12 years ago.. I lived in New York for a number of years, and then made the move to Nashville. After spending some time in the East Nashville area, I fell in love with Nashville. I spent time between Nashville and NY over the years, and have traveled pretty extensively around the world since leaving Ireland in my early 20s, so I have stayed in A LOT of hostels, hotels, regular B&Bs and Airbnbs, and always had a passion for learning as I traveled.
I grew up in a B&B (that my parents owned) in Dublin, Ireland in the 80s waaaay before everyone was online, so Colin always says hosting is in my blood, and he's right - I love it, and want to continue to do it as long as we possibly can. He has joined in on my passion for it, and we do it together now. We currently do it professionally, and have been honored to receive an award from Airbnb for being Superhosts 20 times in a row, which was no easy feat :). We love to host, and love to help create a memorable experience for our guests. Come stay with us, and see what it's all about. :)
