Character home in the heart of downtown Calgary has a fully furnished second bedroom that can be yours. Walking distance to everything downtown. In the trendy mission district. Includes backyard, parking spot, queen size bed and private room. house is shared with couple in their 30's and 3 cats.

You will get your own private room (no sleeping in a shared space on a couch) right in the heart of downtown.
One of the last century old character houses left that hasn't been demolished for an apartment or condo.
Big backyard and lots of room and privacy.

Shared use of kitchen.
Shared bathroom with bathtub.
Shared use of living room with flat screen tv, Netflix and wifi.
Shared use of backyard with firepit.
Washer and dryer use.
Clean towels provided (daily if requested - at no extra charge)
Parking available in the driveway. (No need to pay for outrageous downtown parking rates)

We work a lot and have busy lives. Prefer someone who can just enjoy the use of the space on their own without much interaction from us required. When we are home we are normally busy with making meals and doing other work.
We are very happy to help with suggestions or directions regarding Calgary but do not have much time to participate in the sightseeing with you.
We work Iong hours often so you are free to come and go as you please and enjoy the space how you'd like.

There are 3 cats living in the house with us so anyone with allergies please do not book.
The orange cat (waffles) is still very young and very rambunctious and filled with energy. If you are not a cat lover please do not book the space.
Since he is young he is very active and can get in some trouble (jumping on counters, bugging you while you eat, whining to play and for attention). Two of the cats are completely harmless and will never bite or scratch you but they are a presence in the house so if you are annoyed by cats being cats then this isn’t the place for you. The third cat is a scared rescue cat so will probably be hiding the entire time you’re here.
If you make an effort to keep the door to your room closed then they will stay out of there.
