Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Hunting, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking opportunities etc... abound in our area.The kitchen is complete with dishes, pots and pans, full sized appliances and many extras so your short or long term stay will be very comfortable.Your well behaved pet(s) is welcome too (fee). Heron's Landing is a comfortable lodging unit located above Woods & River Coffee, just one block from the Erie to Pittsburgh Trail. Located within walking distance to many amenities, the apartment overlooks the Allegheny River and offers a spectacular view year round. The apartment is located on a busy street in the South Side business district, and above a coffee shop, so please be prepared for the busy sounds of a town and cafe, though we do our best to be quiet in the early hours!
