OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we don't use 'one size fits all' Wavestorm boards - we offer custom boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. We will take photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. If you would like pro photos please inquire, we do offer them at an additional fee. If you want to book for kids under 12 yo - please contact me directly for private lessons Your safety is our main priority that is why myself and all of our lead instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association), CPR & First Aid certified, we obtain Water Safety Specialists certificates (surfing instructor safety training) and I also completed 2 Level surf instructors program with ISA. You’ll receive PROFESSIONAL photos of the sign, the skyline, and scenic panoramas that may break the internet with likes. Other tours take 1-2 pictures. I'll give you 75+ (Best Friend Move). We've been doing this for 6 years and love to show you how LA is done by an actual local and not a "tour company." Please Note: Tipping tour guides is America is customary and always appreciated. It's not mandatory but is the best way to show your guide that you had a great time!

A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! We will enjoy a nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. This experience is great for groups and great for teams! We love to host private and corporate groups, and socializing with the dogs is great for team-building! Other things to note: We will be in direct sun, so bring sunscreen and other protective wear. There are no bathrooms in Runyon Canyon. Your friendly dog is welcome to join us! Street parking is very difficult.

(MALIBU, SANTA MONICA, VENICE) and its hidden treasures only a lifelong local would know. We will uncover natural wonders that most tourist never get a chance to see... (HIDDEN BEACHES, LUSH MOUNTAIN PEAKS, LEGENDARY CANYON ROADS, AND SECRET VIEWPOINTS) I will provide my extensive insight while uncovering these locations. We will stop wherever you feel that you'd like to take a picture, and I will act as your groups personal photographer! WE WILL SPEND THIS UNFORGETTABLE DAY SEEING AMAZING NATURAL SIGHTS, VISITING ICONIC LANDMARKS AND AREAS, AND TAKING THE ULTIMATE PICTURES OF LA TO BE REMEMBERED FOR A LIFETIME. Other things to note *** As of Summer 2022 we will be touring in a classic 1980s convertible Chevy surfer van(pictures coming soon)*** I am a very skilled driver. I will provide blankets in case you get cold. Your enjoyment and safety is my number one priority.

Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. Approximate flight time is 40 mins Expect a cancellation if there is bad weather. Only two passengers are allowed per ride to create a guest-focused experience.

In this experience, we will dive into the Japanese art of kokedamas. We will first talk about the fascinating history of this old art form, as well as how it is related to Japanese customs and the philosophy of wabi sabi. Then, I will show you how to make your first kokedama. Making kokedamas involves turning peat moss into a soil ball and then wrapping it in sheet moss to create a self sustaining pot to hold your plant. Each person will have their own station to create TWO kokedamas, that will eventually be taken home. This is perfect for those who are looking for a romantic and unique date or an enjoyable time spent with a family member learning a new trade. We have hosted many birthday and bachelorette parties, if you are looking for a special way to celebrate in nature. We are also perfect for group team building if you'd like to do a private corporate/business class. Come prepared to get your hands dirty!

Back by popular demand! You will learn basic woodworking techniques by creating your very own air plant holder. A variety of woods will be available to choose from. You'll create a unique shape for your planter or you can use one of my ready-made templates. After cutting out your creation on the bandsaw and shaping it on the belt sander, I will show you how to expertly sand and finish your piece so that you can proudly display your holder at home, or give it as a gift. You'll leave with a finished piece and an air plant to put in it. Other things to note: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, things that you don't mind getting dirty. The woodshop is a dusty place! Long hair should be tied back.

Get a chance to hand-feed our hens (fun for photographs) and see if it's for you. Or just relive what it is like to be around them if your grandma had them or if you were raised with them. I'll answer your questions and cover the dos and don'ts for starting and caring for your flock. How to choose the right breeds for your area, what age you want (Day-old chicks? Laying age? Hatching eggs?), house them, feed them, care for them, and still have your neighbors on speaking terms. This Experience focuses on chickens as pets and for eggs. I don't keep roosters or meat birds, although I will be happy to answer questions. Seating is provided. I will provide some resource notes on raising chickens as well as egg-based recipes to try later. My hope is you’ll enjoy spending time in appreciation of Nature, learn about where our food comes from, and slow down long enough to appreciate the sights, sounds and habits of chickens.

We meet at the closest possible point for the shortest Hollywood Sign Tour (NO PARKING) where we'll take photos in front of the Sign (10 minutes). Then we'll walk 1.3 miles (2km) on a paved road, up a steep hill, to the very top of the Sign (45 minutes) and take your picture with the sign in the background and all of Los Angeles at your feet (10 minutes). Then it's a casual walk back down to where we started (25 minutes) and the tour is over. Throughout the entire tour we'll entertain you with a spoken performance covering the history of the Sign, celebrities, Los Angeles, the surrounding nature, and various other interesting tales you won't find anywhere else. Think of this as a walking "show" set on a spectacular stage. We show you how to take once in a lifetime photos in the absolute best locations throughout Griffith Park including a stunning panorama from above with the sign in the background and Los Angeles below. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of beautiful Marina del Rey while kayaking or standup paddle boarding. Find hidden spots in the marina and discover local wildlife, including sea lions, a wide variety of birds and sometimes even dolphins. We will meet on the parking lot right next to mellow sandy Mother's beach, talk about the local environment and marine life, kayaking/paddle-boarding techniques and safety. After that we will board on our kayaks and SUPs and paddle towards the main channel of the Marina. On the way we can observe all the beautiful and unique boats and search for sea lions, birds, dolphins and other marine life (these are the wild animals and I can't guarantee that we'll see them, but in majority of the time we do).
