It's surrounded by fields & hills & is at the head of the Manifold Valley's walk/cycle track. Opposite is a café & a well-loved, family & dog friendly pub is a two minute walk away. Nearby Hartington is a pretty, well appointed village, & many of the Peak District's most loved attractions and towns, each with their own, individual characteristics, are just a short drive away.

Parsons Barn is over 300 years old and stands at the entrance to the village of Hartington in the beautiful White peak in the Peak District National Park . The cottage has a private and safe south facing fully enclosed garden with BBQ and outdoor garden furniture. Hartington itself is a popular pretty village boasting some 3 pubs 3 cafes, post office , Deli Stores and News agents and of course our very own famous Cheese shop not to missed Walking and cycling can be done from the front door

Cheese Press Cottage is a stunning boutique cottage set within the grounds of an 100 acre private property giving complete privacy and solitude. A perfect base for walking and cycling or just simply relax among the endless unspoilt countryside. Many historic houses are very nearby including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Tissington Hall among others. There are many pubs and farm shops nearby so whether you want to eat out, grab a takeaway or simply enjoy cooking - the choice is yours!

Bertie's Shepherds Hut

Our cosy hut is the perfect way to enjoy a stay in the Peak district national park, set in the heart of the village of Alstonefield its surrounded by stunning walks and must visit locations! The hut is set in a private area of our campsite, with a full size double bed, kitchen, seating and dining area with outside seating, balcony and firepit. The little hut is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break including bedding and firewood so all you need to do is arrive!!
