I can meet you at any Pool Hall in Austin or any Pool Table in the Austin Area. I love to play pool so I don't mind coming to you. For this experience we will use The Grand Billiards because it's my favorite pool hall in Austin with a tournament on Thursday's and Saturday's.
If you are new to pool, then we will work on mechanics and basics. If you have played before and want to improve in a certain area (ex: draw, follow, position, break, strategy, ect.) Then we will focus on those areas. And if you are a seasoned player and you want someone to spot your game as a second pair of eyes, we can do that also!
The main thing I want you to take from each experience is the knowledge to improve your pool game, a general overall fun-time, and a unique game experience you can't find anywhere else. Pool is fun and great mind body exercise. I look forward to showing you the ways of a Zen Pool Master.

I am the Creator of Local Billiards Promotional YouTube Channel "Zen Pool Studios". I am 35 yrs of age, born and raised in Austin Texas. I have been playing competitive pool since 2011. I really enjoy teaching people about pool and trying to beat them! Its my life passion.
I have been in many gambling matches, tournament matches, and friendly-games. I love to help people understand the mechanics of exactly how to stroke a cue. It is an art that anyone from age 5-80 can enjoy. It's a great activity to do on a rainy day or if you just feel like doing something active indoors. My teachers have been many and great and I still am learning so much myself.
I am very easy going, patient, & creative. Even if you think that I can not teach you I assure you I can, as I have never had a student who did not improve. It's all good!

There are many pool tables and even foosball and pinball. There is a full bar and a jukebox. Some days there is food served and there are some nice options to grab a bite inside the shopping center.

Manny was great! We had such a fun time learning about pool and practicing. I’m really glad we signed up for the experience! He was very patient and took the time explaining and demonstrating - I think I’m definitely better at it than when I walked in.

This is an experience I will not soon forget and will always remember ! Manny and Mike are gifted teachers. I am a newcomer to the game of pool and Manny and Mike not only provided instruction but also set the tone by providing some of the philosophy behind the game, which is really an art form. The whole experience reminded me a bit of The Karate Kid's famous line "wax on, wax off" or what I have come to call the Zen of pool. Aside from their instruction Manny and Mike were a pleasure to get to know and by the end of the session I felt as if I had two new comrades. The experience even inspired me to seek out a professional in my home town continue my instruction in the Zen of pool.
